Tanzania Football Federation (TFF) targets Sh500m on Sunday

Dar es Salaam. Tanzania Football Federation (TFF) target to
collect Sh503,065,000 in the Sunday, Tanzania Mainland Premier League
traditional rivals match between defending champions, Young Africans and
Simba Sports Club.
The amount would be collected if TFF and Tanzania
Premier League Board (TPL-Board) will manage to sell all tickets
allocated for the match at the 60,000 seater National Stadium.
The football governing body is expecting to
collect Sh98,240,000 if they will sold all green seats for Sh5,000 while
Sh119,315,000 are expected to be collected if they will sell all 17,045
blue seats for Sh7,000 and Sh118, 970,000 would be obtained if 11,897
orange seats would be sold for Sh10,000 each.
The body also expect to raise Sh60,900,000 from
VIP C seats of they will all sold for Sh15,000 while Sh83,200,000 would
collected for selling 4,160 VIP B seats for Sh20,000 each. TFF also
expect to get Sh22,440,000 for selling 748 VIP A seats for sh30,000
each.
The lowest entrance fee for the Sunday traditional
rivals match between Young Africans and Simba Sports Club is Sh5,000.
TFF Information officer, Boniface Wambura said tickets would be sold one
day before the encounter scheduled to start at 4pm.
The tickets selling points are Benjamini Mkapa Secondary School, Steers along Samora and Ohio streets, Oilcom Ubungo, Buguruni Petrol Station, Dar Live Mbagala, Uhuru Stadium and BMM Salon in Sinza Madukani.

The encounter will be officiated by Dar es Salaam
region referee Israel Nkongo who will be centre referee and assistants,
Hamis Changwalu of Dar es Salaam and Ferdinand Chacha of Kagera. The
fourth official will be Oden Mbaga of Dar es Salaam while match
commissioner will be John Kiteve of Iringa and referees assessor is
Stanley Lugenge of Njombe.
Wambura said that they are expecting to tight
security in the encounter. “Tomorrow (today) we will meet with stadium
owner and police force to discuss the security of the stadium, inside
and outside the stadium, we will continue to scan all fans and request
them if they have weapon, please leave it at home or at your car,” said
Wambura.
Meanwhile; pressure mounted the two teams fans and officials after deciding to camp outside the city ahead of the encounter.
As Simba SC is still at normal camp (Bamba Beach), their rival, Young Africans has shifted the camp to Pemba ahead of the match.
